Internalized sexism

Internalisation is the process of transformation (reflection, transition) of external events, processes, and appearances into internal ones.

Internalized sexism is the involuntary internalization by women of the sexist messages that are present in their societies and culture.

It also the way in which women reinforce sexism by utilizing and relaying sexist messages that they've internalized. OF: sexism, homophobia, racism
